What is a Donor Advised Fund?

The Cidel Foundation is a flexible charitable giving vehicle registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) that offers a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). It allows you to grow your charitable assets without the administrative responsibilities and costs of establishing a private foundation.

Each donor will have their own separate investment portfolio and donation strategy within the Cidel Donor Advised Fund.

All donor and granting information can be confidential.
Cidel offers a separate investment portfolio for each donor giving the client more investment flexibility.
Granting decisions are made exclusively based on donor recommendations to eligible charities.
